Lil Wayne received a citation from Kenner County officials in New Orleans, Louisiana, for failing to maintain the landscaping of his currently-for-sale $1.7 million mansion. In short, Weezy got told to mow his lawn!

The citation was written to Dwayne Carter (Lil Wayne’s given name) sometime between Feb. 26 to March 2.

The Times-Picayune quotes realtor Lincoy Moliere as saying “It’s an immaculate property.” “It’s in great condition. It’s going to make somebody happy.”

The 10,000 sq. foot “celebrity mansion” was originally bought in 2006 for a cool $1.75 million. There are five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool house, a fitness room, a home theater, a salon room, and a four-car garage. The master suite comes with a fireplace and has his and her baths in addition to a steam room sauna and Jacuzzi.

Moliere wouldn’t say if Wayne is currently using the property and he wouldn’t comment on the recent citation.

If you’re ever in the area and want to check out Weezy’s crib, Moliere says he hosts open houses every Sunday from 2-4pm. Just remember that the house doesn’t look like it does in the photo above anymore!

At last weekend’s NBA All-Star Game, Lil Wayne showed up in customary Weezy swag – aka million dollar diamond encrusted headphones. The headphones, from Beats by Dr.Dre and $200 a pop, were taken up a notch by the Young Money rapper and revamped to match his gold-and-diamond bedazzled grill (yes, he actually did this, and yes, pigs do fly).

Of course, Carter is known for his flashy and often confusing garb – the bright green spaceman UGG boots in Drake’s “The Motto” video, the fanny pack episode for B.o.B’s “Strange Clouds“, etc. So really, blinged out headphones are simply Weezy’s way off stepping up his game, you know, his way of showing the world that he’s “top dog” while you’re “top ramen.” Ahem, duh.

The beginning of Drake’s “The Motto” video opens with an intro by Mac Dre’s mother, Wanda Salvatto. In a heartfelt message, Miss Salvatto addresses her son: “Andre, you wanted me to be a strong black woman. If you could see me now, sitting here in front of this camera, and the people that are in the room, you would be very proud. This is just the beginning. I’m still here, and as long as I’m here, you’ll be here.”

In a proper tribute to the legendary rapper, Drake reps the Bay Area in “The Motto” music video. Sporting a puffy leopard Northface jacket and red Nike gloves (hello product placement!), Drizzy cruises in a drop-top Impala around SF’s famed bridges and city lights. He’s soon joined by Mistah FAB and E-40, who meet up for some background cameo support.

Lil Wayne and Tyga go solo. Weezy ghost rides the whip in green spaceman boots and pants that curiously resemble jeggings, while Tyga pops champagne in the club and spits while posted up on a Ferrari.

Other than the curious wardrobe choices and rather low-key production, it’s a decent video that pays homage to Mac Dre’s hometown. It’s got some of the biggest rappers in the game today, slick cars and a “Rest in peace Mac Dre, I’ma do it for the Bay” shout out by Drake. All in all, a solid wrap up for the single off his Take Care album that recently went platinum.

So we died and went to MC heaven when we heard Ke$ha’s “Sleazy” remix featuring not just one of today’s hottest rappers but four! Wiz Khalifa, T.I., Lil Wayne, and André 300 all spit rhymes in this intoxicating collaboration. This MC extravaganza first came into the works when Ke$ha paired with famed producer Dr. Luke to create one of the most impressive rap alliances of 2011.

“These were all kind of on my wish list of people to work with in the future,” the “Sleazy” songwriter told MTV. “Dr. Luke and I had this idea that we wanted to just get them all on one track and make it as gangster of a track as we possibly could. It was kind of a little bit of a mission, and the fact that we pulled it off just in time for Christmas — I’m stoked about it…You can really tell they put their best into their lyrics. I’m really proud of the remix ’cause I feel like everyone is really f—ing going for it. All of their verses are really incredible.”

Confession: We’ve played this about 30 times and have about every lyric memorized, dance moves included. Yes, we’re that legit.

Ke$ha gets sleazier with some of her favorite rappers, Wiz Khalifa, T.I., Lil Wayne, and André 3000, on “Sleazy Remix 2.0.” The track samples “Sleazy” from Ke$ha’s Cannibal EP. The track was produced by Benny Blanco, Dr. Luke, and Bangladesh.

Wiz opens the track with some pretty sick verses and even gives a shout out to his current girlfriend Amber Rose, spittin’, “OK, I’m young and I’m tatted/ I get them bucks like an addict/ Rocking this Christian Dior/ I spend so much on my fabric/ I got a wifey at home/ And what she wants she can have it.”

Second up to rap is André 3000. His verse appears on the official remix on Ke$ha’s EP. His part is just alright in my book.

T.I. steps up to the plate next, with what I think is the best verse out of the whole track. He kills it! The King of the South asks Ke$ha, “Do you know what to do with me?” before explaining how much swag he has with the ladies.

Last up on the song is Weezy, who takes over with his usual Young Money style of rapping. Ironically, Weezy spits about all the swag and fortune he has despite the song’s chant “I don’t need you or your brand new Benz/Or your boozy friends/And I don’t need love, looking like diamonds/Looking like diamonds.” Maybe Weezy didn’t actually listen to the original song.

Overall, the song doesn’t sound like a remix but rather four different rappers doing their own thing to the backdrop of “Sleazy.” It almost sounds like some kind of rap battle between the four rappers.

If this was a battle, T.I. would definitely come out on top as the winner with Wiz finishing in a close second. The King of the South just nails his verse perfectly against the heavy drum beats with his southern charm and style. On a T.I. note, the rapper has been making an incredible comeback from his stint in prison with his new reality show and all the appearances he’s been making. I can’t wait for his album to drop.

Also, looks like someone finally took a shower! Or at least Photo Shop made it look like someone finally took a shower…

B.o.B’s music video for “Strange Clouds” featuring Lil Wayne premiered yesterday (Dec. 5), two months after it’s iTunes debut. The video was directed by Motion Family.

The video for the Dr. Luke-produced dubstep meets hip-hop track is just alright in my books. Actually, scratch that. The scenes with T.I. are automatic wins for me. What can I say? He’s downright sexy in my book.

Playing off the track’s title, the video does indeed have some strange scenes that will have you thinking WTF? For instance, B.o.B wears some serious grills while Weezy wears a lime green fanny pack, Weezy pulls a plant out of the bushes and uses it to dance, and a man runs out of his house carrying his kid and a lamp.

The graphics for the strange clouds in the video are pretty sick though. The colorful swirls of light that play amongst the clouds reminded me of the northern lights. Everyone in the video is basically wondering what the strange clouds are. Are the strange clouds warning of a possible end of the world apocalypse or simply a beautiful natural spectacle? It’s always interesting that people run with the herd towards either end. Possible video commentary on current political and social topics? Maybe.

B.o.B told Billboard.com a little bit about his album: “It’s reflective of the growth, and how my perspective has changed,” he said. “As the hip-hop community is becoming more influential to the world, I feel like we shed light on topics that are necessary to be addressed in order to progress socially. And ‘Strange Clouds’ is like a hybrid — the sci-fi with the organic… It’s all about art, it’s all about music, and I feel like this album is going to be a classic.”

My favorite line, hands down, from the song (just cause it’s fun to say):

I’m top chef, you top ramen, I’m top shelf.

Lil Wayne stopped by his hometown of New Orleans to pass out free turkeys last Friday (Nov. 18). He joined fellow Young Money Cash Money Billionaires (YMCMB) members Birdman and Slim along with a few others. This year marked the 16th anniversary for the annual tradition.

“It’s actually been my first time back here for the past eight or nine years and they’ve been doing this for fifteen years,” Weezy told MTV News. “Me just being super busy, always on tour or something like that. But this is amazing, especially experiencing it now from this point of view, a 29-year-old perspective of a person with everything—not everything—a person with the things that he needs in place.”

“I’m able to give. Those times I did it years ago, I was just a kid and I was just doing it because Baby and Slim, we were giving away turkeys at a park,” he said. “Now it’s a totally different feeling because I can actually give you that and say here, ‘Happy Thanksgiving,’ and I can provide that for you. That’s a different feeling in general and it’s a beautiful feeling overall.”

RnB singer Robin Thicke collaborates with rapper Weezy aka Lil’ Wayne, real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr, on newest single “Pretty Lil’ Heart”.

The duet will be the next single off of Thicke’s fifth album, Love After War.

The unlikely pairing works well. Thicke provides a sultry, smooth, almost jazz club-like vibe and Weezy provides his usual swag to the track. The rhythmic, guitar beats work well with the occasional blasts of the horn.

“Pretty Lil’ Heart” will be available for download beginning November 8th.

Love After War hits stores December 6th.
