In an exclusive interview with VEVO, Lady Gaga explains the story behind the music video for her hit song, “Marry The Night,” released last Thursday. Her  video for “Marry The Night” shocked millions worldwide, as her little monsters watched the pop empress douse herself in honey nut cheerios, prance around naked in her apartment and smoke nonchalantly by cars on fire. Gaga explains that the clip portrays her breakdown after being dropped from the Def Jam label nearly six years ago and how she relives the moment on camera.

Gaga’s “Marry The Night” music video is a bizarre, frightening and beautiful composition.

Lady Gaga performed a stripped down version of “Marry the Night” on British Alan Carr’s show, Alan Carr: Chatty Man last night (Sunday, Nov. 20).

Just hours before the release of the prelude to “Marry The Night,” Gaga happily tweeted: “I will release 1 min 47 seconds & 18 frames of “MARRY THE NIGHT: THE PRELUDE PATHÉTIQUE” The full prelude is 7 min 33 seconds & 15 frames.”

If you’re one of the millions of eager fans itching to get a peak of Lady Gaga’s upcoming “Marry The Night” music video, then here’s a bit of news to hold you over til’ then: The Gaga announced via tweet that she’ll be releasing the prelude to her video this Thursday (November 17th).

Earlier, Gaga hinted to fans with a tweet that she was  ”[so] excited to perform ‘Marry The Night’ on ‘X Factor’ U.K. tonight! Will sing my head off for England!!”

The goddess of pop culture (aka THE Gaga) posted a screenshot from the filming of her highly anticipated music video, “Marry The Night.”
