Drake Cuts Ties With ICM

Drake has split with ICM (International Creative Management) and the firm will no longer represent the rapper in domestic touring. Last month, Drake was reported to have designated the majority of his representation to WME despite his longtime ties with ICM. A WME rep assured reporters that the Young Money/Cash Money artist will continue to be represented by HHS78, the management team of Kyambo “Hip Hop” Joshua and Gee Roberson, in addition to WME. HHS78 is known for its A-list clients, including Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.

Why the sudden change? A source explained to the New York Post: “Drake just felt like there were too many hands in his pockets…He was getting pulled in too many different directions.” With the recent success of his Take Care album, it seems that Mr. Graham (aka Drake) is keeping a close watch on his piggy bank.
