Justin Bieber & Michael Bublé Go Bromance For Christmas Special
During Michael Bublé’s “A Michael Bublé Christmas” special on NBC last night, the singer invited fellow Canadian, Justin Bieber, onto the stage. The two exchanged playful, “Dude, I love you” bromance banter, with Bieber Fever insisting that Bublé is his “brother from another mother.” Yikes, that just happened.
Bieber then launched into his hit song, “Mistletoe,” which peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. Of course, as soon as the baby crooner began singing, all the tween girls swooned and some even appeared to be crying. The power this 17 year old kid has over tweens and moms still sends me into a state of wonder.
Overall, it was a cute skit. Buble’s Christmas album and Bieb’s Under The Mistletoe both topped the Billboard 200, making them the first two Christmas albums do so since 1957. The last time was with Elvis Presley’s Elvis’ Christmas Album and Bing Crosby’s Merry Christmas. Doesn’t all this Christmas cheer make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?
