Lady Gaga Performs ‘Marry the Night’ at MTV EMAs, Takes Home 4 Awards

Lady Gaga(25) gave her debut live performance of “Marry the Night” at the MTV European Music Awards this past Sunday.
During the performance, Gaga sang atop a ginormous, iridescent moon centered on stage, then floated back to earth to finish off the number with her male dancers. Her energetic dance moves included shimmying, hair whipping, and intense arm and leg extensions. Columns of fire burst in the background and strobe lights lit up the entire stage while a single spotlight was centered on Gaga until the big dance number at the end.

Gaga walked on the red carpet in her version of a knight’s armor, made entirely of metal pieces. Her performance and acceptance outfits were exceptional pieces of structural design.
Gaga told radio station Capital FM: “Every outfit was made entirely of paper,” and “It was inspired by the idea of the paper moon because there was a moon on stage tonight.”
Gaga won the awards for Best Fans, Best Female, and Best Song and Best Video for “Born This Way”.
