New Music: Nicki Minaj Proves She’s a Bad B*tch in ‘Roman in Moscow’
Roman’s back! Nicki Minaj just released teaser single “Roman in Moscow” to help promote her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, scheduled to hit stores this Valentine’s day.The SAROM and Street Runner-produced track sees Roman taking jabs at other rappers and proving that, like she has many times over, she’s a bad b*tch.
Last month Stereogum had a Q&A session with Drake who had this to say about Nicki:
“Nicki told me she’s about to get back on some spitter sh*t. Which I’m excited for. One thing I don’t want her to do is ever like get lost in the pop world. I hear songs from people on the radio and I’m like, damn, that’s so and so? Really? That’s his new joint? She’s so good at it and it works for her, but she’s a f*cking amazing rapper.”
The track is just what I expected from Nicki. It’s raw Nicki just doing her thing. No need for cameos or feature artists here. Although I will say that Nicki’s various voices are starting to get unoriginal. On that note, her dumb faces are starting to get annoying too. Anyone agree with me?
