Nicki Minaj Immortalized as Blinged Out Barbie

The Harajuku Barbie’s dreams are finally becoming reality.

Hip-hop and rap superstar Nicki Minaj will be immortalized as a hot pink wig-wearing, expensive plastic doll. The Nicki Barbie will be up for auction to benefit charity. The proceeds from the auctioned doll will go to Project Angel Food, an LA-based meal delivery service for patients with HIV and AIDS.

The doll will be available this Wednesday, Dec. 7. Bidding starts at a cool $1,000.

I really don’t think the Nicki Barbie looks that much like Nicki Minaj. I think it’s mainly the eyes that throw off the look. Honestly, if you stripped this Barbie of everything, it would look like any other Barbie. I bet I could recreate the Nicki Barbie if I wanted to, just give me an old Barbie and a gift card to Michaels.

In the end, it’s all for charity. I hope the doll auctions for a lot of money to help all the patients!
