Chris Brown plays wing man to Mr. Worldwide as he takes over the planet with “International Love.” The track serves as the fourth single from Pitbull’s sixth studio album Planet Pit. The music video was directed by David Rousseau.
Pitbull has huge international appeal with all his songs. He’s able to give fans just the right amount of Miami heat. In “International Love,” Pitbull and
Chrisqo Chris Brown suit up for the ladies and fans go crazy for the singers.
“The music video is about the global presence of Mr. Worldwide, how he went from Mr. 305 to being a global phenomenon,” said Rousseau. “Now the world is his stage.”
Pitbull added, “It’s all about the music being global, the music being the universal language and it goes to show you no matter what language you may speak and or not speak, you speak music.”
This song really isn’t the kind of track I’d be grooving to everyday, but I could definitely get down to it at a club. “International Love” will definitely turn into an anthem for all the locals living in the places that are mentioned. The chorus is pretty catchy and overall, the track is a very feel good kind of song. The song is basically about having a good time and who doesn’t want to have a good time?
The dancing in the video is mediocre. When I found out that Breezy was going to be in the video, I was actually excited to see what new dance moves he’s been working on. Unfortunately, he doesn’t really dance that much in this video. Brown actually takes on a Pitbull vibe, which brings me to my last comment on this video…
I would be lying if I said that Pitbull doesn’t creep me out. It’s nothing personal Mr. Worldwide, but if you approached me while I was dancing with my girl friends at the club, I would definitely try The Face (any Jenna Marbles fans out there?) or pull a “Sorry, I have to go to the bathroom. I’ll be right back…” and never return.
