Pop Queen Katy Perry Will Host “Saturday Night Live”

The Queen of Pop, Katy Perry, will be taking a break from the recent success of her Teenage Dream album and California Dreams Tour to host the legendary Saturday Night Live comedy show. Perry will be joining the legion of A-list celebrities who have hosted Saturday Night Live and bring her own spunk and wit to the table. Luckily, the singer has a bit of acting experience. Perry appeared in an episode of the hit show How I Met Your Mother and was the voice of “Smurfette” in the Smurfs animated feature film. So we’ll see how she fares amidst the famed SNL cast.

Robyn, the Swedish pop artist who opened for her California Dreams Tour, will be the SNL musical guest. Who knows, maybe hubby actor Russell Brand will return for a cameo.
