“Runaway Baby” is a retro-rolling single from Bruno Mars’ debut studio album Doo-Wops & Hooligans. The song carries old-school vibes and guitar heavy sounds. Mars performed the song at this year’s 2012 Grammy Awards. Decked out in a gold suit + bowtie and flanked by backup singers in matching outfits and supported by a full band, the “Just The Way You Are” chart-topper made ladies in the audience swoon with his slick moves on stage.

Even more, Mars did no lip-syncing during the Grammy performance, something that is tragically rare these days. From the fresh threads, the flashing marquee, the fancy footwork while belting out the fast-paced song and the phenomenal energy spilling over the stage earned the singer a standing ovation from thrilled audience members. Sigh, they just don’t make ‘em like they used to.

“Runaway Baby” recently debuted at No.50 on the Billboard Hot 100.
