STAFF PICK OF THE DAY: Let David Guetta and Kid Cudi Bring You An Epic 2012

As we gear up for 2012, we couldn’t help but pick “Memories” as our Staff Pick of the Day. It’s the perfect jam to roll up in this NYE and fitting, considering 2011 has witnessed some of the hottest breakthroughs in the music industry. “Memories” is the fourth single off David Guetta’s fourth studio album, One Love, and features rapper Kid Cudi. The song soared to the top 5 in Australia, France, Ireland, Finland, Belgium, Austria, Czech Republic and the Netherlands.

“Memories” has streamed on nearly every radio and was the go-to track for every club and party scene this year. The official music video was filmed in Miami and features Kid Cudi sporting a Gun N’ Roses Tee and showing some Cleveland Indians love on his cap. Fans were invited to be filmed for club scenes at Nocturnal while Guetta DJ’ed and models frolicked in the nude, partially covered up by floating song lyrics. Models and partying the last few moments of 2011 with David Guetta and Kid Cudi? Sounds like an epic NYE to me.
