Always keeping busy, Rihanna is said to be working on her seventh album. If released this year, it will be her seventh release in eight years! Her first album, which was released in 2005, was entitled “Music of the Sun”. Since then she has had albums entitled “A Girl Like Me” (2006), “Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded” (2008), “Rated R” (2009), “Loud” (2010), and “Talk That Talk” (2011).

In addition to recording, releasing all of these albums and planning a world tour for 2013, Rihanna has two womens’ fragrances on the market called “Reb’l Fleur” and “Rebelle”. If that’s not enough to keep her busy, she also played the part Petty Officer Raikes in the movie “Battleship”, which was released on May 18th and will be one of the voices in an upcoming DreamWorks animated film called “Happy Smekday!”.

Needless to say, Rihanna is no doubt a hardworking and busy woman. It will be exciting to see what is on her seventh album!

As the New Year quickly approaches, DJ Earworm’s annual mashup of 2011′s hottest pop songs has finally arrived.

Rihanna’s “You Da One” music video has arrived and fans get an early Christmas present in this provocative new clip. The singer pays homage to MJ with several crotch grabbing moves and Clockwork Orange with a bowler hat plus cane ensemble. The majority of the film in shot in black-and-white and RiRi goes solo as she romps around for the camera. The 23 year old hitmaker drips sexuality as she gyrates in fishnet stockings, dons a flesh-colored body suit bathed in light, and teases smoke into words.

After shocking comments were published in a recent issue of Dutch magazine Jackie, Rihanna took to twitter to respond to the article’s reference to her as the ”ultimate n—abitch.” To worsen the matter the magazine’s fashion writer even mistook the singer as Jamaican when she is in fact from Barbados. 

Despite several health scares including a series of flu illness and exhaustion, Rihanna continues to power through her demanding Loud tour performance schedule. Last Saturday (Dec. 17), Rihanna had to run off stage mid-concert to throw up during a show in Lisbon, Portugal.
